Hannah Ghelman is a B.A. Communications major from “Universidad Católica Andres Bello” and has developed her acting career at Miami-Dade College’s Prometeo Professional Actor Training Program since 2008. This Hispanic actress is also passionate about writing. Currently she resides in Miami, where she has appeared in Infieles, as part of the XXVII International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami; Vagina Monologues, Historias del Llano, Fuenteovejunta, Lección para señoritas, Chejov Vs. Chejov and Picnic. Other credits include Daughters of Abraham in Auburn, Alabama; Cabaret and Criaturas in her native Venezuela, and Clueless & Clark and Who killed Don Jose, in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. As a highlight in her career was a performance that consists of a short play written by her: 1:11 presented as part of the Microteather project develop in Spain and imported to many other countries in the world. In 2016 she traveled to New York to participate in the Commissioner Hispanic Theater Festival with the play La Herencia. That role granted her the best actress award at the Miami Theater Awards. The year after the Spanish Cultural Center hosted the play Abstinencias and she also performed at the Miami International Book Fair with the kids play El Principito. In 2018 she became a mother of a lovely boy and decided to take a sabbatical year. In 2020 had the opportunity to perform again as part of the innovative Miami Motel Stories North Beach The Movie, an immersive theatrical experience.
